About Me
It’s interesting how some things in our lives come back around- it’s like fashion: first, bellbottoms are in then they aren’t, and then there they are again. I am currently exploring my interest in Information Architecture and Content Strategy, with Information Architecture being one of the first things I learned about when I went back to school (and I have an early edition polar bear book to prove it).
I currently contribute to my tech community by co-organizing a quarterly meetup for underrepresented folks in tech. In the past, I have served as a coordinator for a local tech non-profit, as well as volunteered to teach code at a women’s prison. I also had the opportunity to speak on a panel on how to transition into tech.
When I’m not bookmarking Medium articles, you can find me crocheting, jumping off the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, or in a hot yoga class.
